Material

Very flexible and supple packing, good alternative to preformed graphite-rings. It combines the advantages of pure graphite rings with the ease of installation of conventional packings, very low coefficient of friction and excellent thermal conductivity; does not age or harden; chemically inert (pH 0-14) except with highly oxidizing media.

Description

Braided PTFE Yarn can be used equally well in pumps, also boiler feed pumps, valves, mixers, refiners, etc. in many different industries like pulp- and paper, power stations, chemical and pharmaceutical industry and many more. It is not suitable for highly concentrated corrosive acids.

Material

PGE® 2240 Carbon and Graphite Gland Packing is a diagonally braided from high quality pure carbon fiber yarn, impregnated with graphite and a corrosion inhibitor. It lacks the usual stiffness of conventional carbon packings. Good flexibility and heat dissipating properties, very low coefficient of friction. Excellent chemical and thermal stability and prevents gap-extrusion of the softer flexible graphite.

The packing is diagonal braided to form a dense but pliable packing, further enhanced with blocking agents. Made as per API Standards. Easy installation and extrusion resistance in single-spool packing.

Description

It is mainly a valve packing, it can also be used for slow moving rotary and reciprocating equipment like plunger pumps etc. Suitable for very demanding applications in most industries, including the paint and lacquer industry. It can be used in connection with most media including the most aggressive ones. Also suitable for oxygen, paints, lacquers, varnishes, etc. Not suitable for: Alkali metals, fluorine and fluorine compounds at high temperatures and pressures, fuming nitric acid, aqua.

Material

A diagonally braided from 100% pure PTFE-yarn (PTFE with incorporated graphite). It has excellent heat dissipating properties and an extremely low coefficient of friction.

Description

The chemical inertness of PTFE makes this packing suitable for use with nearly all fluids, including the most corrosive acids and alkali, while the FDA conformity allows for use with foodstuffs, pharmaceutical products and potable water.

PGE® Style 2120 is very malleable and supple packing with low coefficient of friction, hardly any shaft wear. The filler particles inside the yarn enhance the heat transfer properties as well as lubricant absorption and retention over a longer period. Excellent chemical resistance. Ideal for rotary and piston pumps, mixers, stirrers, digesters and valves in a wide variety of industries: pulp and paper, petrochemical, sugar, fertilizer, food industry, etc. This can be used in connection with many different media including abrasive ones: cold and hot water, steam, solvents, oils and greases, diluted acids and dyes, brine, sewage, slurries, etc.
